Looking forward to taking part in this event organised by the product and textiles research group. The title of my talk is 'Roots and rivers: Textile thinking towards design for sustainability' . Can't wait to meet everyone : )
Very privileged to have attended the private view of the exhibition emerging from this amazing project on Saturday. Beautiful Powhiri at Tukorehe Marae and inspiring exhibition opening at the dairy sheds near Kuku Beach road. Thank you Huhana! Excitied to engage further with the project in the future.
Pleased to send some work off today for the SDA's 'Shifting Landscapes' exhibition, which will be opening at Form and Concept in Sante Fe this month. I'll be showing a digitally embroidered drawing that continues my research into a place-based approach to textile/materials design for sustainability.
